「新潟市アグリパーク」では農作物の収穫や家畜とのふれあい体験、収穫した野菜を使った調理体験などを行うことができます。
ここでは「新潟市アグリパーク」で実施している動物とのふれあい体験を紹介します。
動物のエサやり体験
新潟市アグリパークには乳牛、ヤギ、ヒツジを飼育していて、ヤギとヒツジには受付で牧草やニンジンなどのエサを購入して与えることができます。
ウシの乳搾り・エサやり体験
「新潟市アグリパーク」では事前予約をすることで飼育しているウシの乳搾りを体験することができます。
また、乳搾り体験の中でウシに牧草を与えることもできます。
ウシの機械搾乳の見学
アグリパークで飼育しているウシは乳牛なので、毎日の搾乳が欠かせません。
乳搾りの体験も行っていますが、それでは十分な量のミルクを搾り取れません。
なので、ポンプを使ってミルクを搾り取ります。
また、土・日・祝日のみですが、実際にスタッフが機械を使って搾乳している様子を見学することができます。
ヤギのお散歩体験
アグリパークでは動物とのふれあいの他に、ヤギとのお散歩体験をすることができます。
事前予約が必要で人数は3組程度ですが、ヤギと一緒にお散歩しながらエサやりをすることができます。
ヤギ、ヒツジ、牛の放牧
新潟市アグリパークにいる動物たちは天気の良い日は放牧場で自由にお散歩をさせます。
ヤギやヒツジは毎年春ごろには子どもを出産するので、ヤギやヒツジの赤ちゃんが元気よく放牧場を駆け回る姿を見ることができます。
また、体験畜舎が開くまでの９時頃から１０時の間にウシの放牧も行われます。
