【イベント紹介】ヒツジとアルパカの毛刈り（いくとぴあ食花）

こんにちは、サイト管理人の「ぼるてっくす」です。

４月から５月にかけては気温も高くなり温かい季節になりますね。

ヒツジやアルパカを飼育する動物園では毛刈りのシーズンとなります。



いくとぴあ食花では毎年４月、５月になると飼育されているヒツジとアルパカの毛刈りの実演が行われています。

実演する中で毛刈りの仕方や動物の毛刈りについての解説が行われる他、刈り取った毛にふれることができます。

また、毛刈りの実演会場では刈り取った毛で作られたオリジナルグッズの販売もしています。



毛刈りの実演ではヒツジやアルパカの毛刈りのビフォーアフターを見れる貴重な機会でもあります。

４月、５月はヤギやヒツジの赤ちゃんも見ることができるので、動物とのふれあいが好きな方にもおススメです！！

【動物園情報】アムールトラの「新」と「和」が引っ越します（茶臼山動物園）

皆さま、ごきげんよう。管理人の「ぼるてっくす」です。

長野県にある「茶臼山動物園」では施設の老朽化に伴い、猛獣舎の建て替えを進めてきました。

これまでに「レッサーパンダの森」、「オラウータンの森」、「ライオンの丘」と整備がされてきましたが、ついにアムールトラの新獣舎「アムールトラの森」のリニューアルが始まります。

工事期間中はアムールトラの飼育管理が難しい為、茨城県にある「日立市かみね動物園」でアムールトラの「新」と「和」が預けられることになります。



アムールトラの搬出後に現在の獣舎の取り壊しが行われる為、搬出前の５月11日（日）から５月27日（月）の間、「ありがとう猛獣舎」期間として展示物の掲示とクリアファイルの配布が行われます。

また、５月25日（土）と５月26日（日）は「新」と「和」のお別れ会が開催されます。

工事が完了するまでは、しばらく「新」「和」に会えなくなります。なので、この機会にぜひ会いに来てください。

　日時：5月11日(日)・12日(日)・18日(日)・19日(日)・25日(日)・26日(日) の 9：30～

　場所：動物園券売所（南口200枚・北口100枚）

　※各日とも有料入園者の先着300名に配布


【アムールトラ「和」と「新」のお別れ会】

　日時：5月25日（土）・26日（日）14：30～

　場所：猛獣舎

　内容： 和と新のお話　14：30～

　　　　 特別なお肉をプレゼント　15：00～

　　　　 和と新へメッセージ募集　9：30～16：30
