茶臼山動物園のイベント紹介

茶臼山動物園では今まで中止していたイベントが再開されていました。

今回は以前参加した「アルマジロのお散歩」を紹介したいと思います。



茶臼山動物園には５頭のアルマジロをしているそうです。

今回はアルマジロのいつき♂（４歳）が来てくれました。
人懐こい男の子でした。



アルマジロは20種類ほどいるそうですが、完全に丸まることができるのは、
ミツオビアルマジロとマタコミツオビアルマジロの種類だけだとそうです。



アルマジロの特徴や飼育されている個体の情報を聞きながら、
間近でアルマジロの様子を観察することができました。



アルマジロは展示室でも見ることができるのですが、隠れていたり動きが素早いこともあって、じっくり観察する機会が中々ありません。

広いスペースで走り回るアルマジロの姿も見ることができました。



茶臼山動物園では飼育している動物の解説やふれあいなど色々な体験を開催しています。
